Grace Place/Salvation Army

Community Giving Tree for Grace Place/Salvation Army and Operation HELP

Thank you to all who donated to the Community Giving Tree for Grace Place/Salvation Army, Exodus House and Operation HELP. Many families benefited from your generosity. The following is a picture of the youth working at the Grace Place Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 19.

Evening meal served ... the first Thursday of each month 

Our church is scheduled for the first Thursday of each month to serve the evening meal at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Place in Somerset. Only two to three volunteers are needed due to space limitations. Please sign-up in the Narthex or contact the church office, if you would be willing to help with this local mission program.  

Moola 4 Milk

A special "Moola 4 Milk" campaign was held in September. The increasing amount of requests on our food shelves has put a strain on the milk coupons' program. Thrivent Financial generously issued a challenge to raise $3,200. They would then contribute $1,600. With God's guidance and grace, we hope to make it happen! We are awaiting the totals.

Members of the congregation place their donations in the milk jugs. Thrivent Financial will contribute $1,600 after an initial $3,200 has been raised by the community. UMW also donated $200 to this much needed mission project.
