Volunteer Opportunities
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living at 3001 Hanley Road in Hudson, WI. is looking for volunteers to play music during lunch/dinner times for the residents or perform any talent they may have. The residents most enjoy having music entertainment and it brightens their day. Please contact Carrie Jacobson at 715.381.7333, ext. 406.
THE SENIOR CHOIR:
Anyone who wishes to join the choir is welcome to come on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary.
GREETERS NEEDED:
Please see the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. This is a wonderful way to meet our newest members and to serve in a vital ministry of our church.
GRACE PLACE:
Our church is scheduled for the first Thursday of each month to serve the evening meal at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Place in Somerset. Only two to three volunteers are needed due to space limitations. Please sign-up in the Narthex or contact the church office, if you would be willing to help with this local mission program.
Lay Speakers are needed for the 11:00 a.m. service at CCH on Sunday mornings. Please call Pastor Bruce Stunkard at 386-3921 if you have an interest in doing this, or would like more information.
WORSHIP FLOWERS:
If you are interested in providing altar flowers for worship, please sign the Flower Chart located across from the church office for the Sunday of your choice. Please note on the chart if they are in honor or in memory of someone, or for a special occasion.
LITURGISTS NEEDED:
Please call the church office if you are interested in serving the church as a liturgist. For more information, call the church office.
VIDEOTAPING:
Volunteers are needed to help videotape Sunday services. One service per week is taped for airing on the Hudson cable channel. Please contact the church office for more information.
NURSERY HELPERS NEEDED:
The church nursery is in need of volunteers to help during Sunday services. We really must have two people per service for liability purposes. There are four people who rotate lead and are scheduled every month. However, we still need volunteers to be the second person. Anyone who has an interest in young children is encouraged to volunteer (teens, grandmas, grandpas, etc.). Person(s) must be 16 years of age or older and be willing to commit to approximately 1/3 - 1/2 of all church services. This is a paid position.
