Where Friends, Faith, and the Future Meet

Sewing for Missions

 Cutting/Sewing Days at HUMC ...

The following pictures show members working together in making a variety of projects for missions. Our projects have included baby quilts, fleece mittens and hats, wheelchair bags for CCH, baby gowns and diapers, etc. We meet on the first Monday of each month from 9 to noon (in the case of holidays, please check the calendar for our scheduled date to sew). You are invited to come as your schedule permits. No experience necessary. Bring your scissors and a marking pen. Bring your sewing machines, if you wish. For more information, contact the church office at 715.386.3921.
Thanks to all who continue to help with this project.

"A day hemmed in prayer never unravels!"

We are busy making diapers to be sent to Midwest. Thanks to all who are helping with this project. When we were at Midwest, we were unable to complete layettes because they didn't have enough diapers to include. We have sent over 2,200 diapers to Midwest since April of 2007.

A life without Jesus is a sewing machine come unthreaded ...

you may pass over but you sew nothing.
