Christmas Day Dinner 2010Over 250 people attended the Free Christmas Day Dinner in 2010. "It is such a joyous event," says Carol Benish, co-chair of the event with her husband, Bob Benish. The weather cooperated this year and with the help of over 100 volunteers, a dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, rolls, pie and beverage were served. Volunteers included Boy Scouts and their parents who delivered meals to Hudson and River Falls to those who were unable to attend the event. Transportation was also provided to those who wanted to attend in person. Many gifts were given away including scarves, hats, lotions, canned goods, tooth paste, frozen turkeys, etc. There were lots of smiling faces as they left the church.Attached are some pictures from the event. Additional pictures are also available on the following link to HudsonPatch, an internet site that provides local coverage for the town of Hudson. Chungers and Louise share their talent.
